a. Any student who is entitled to study in any department of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences through the central examination conducted by ÖSYM (Student Selection and Placement Centre) is entitled to register between the published dates, as in all universities in Turkey. All rights of the student are reserved during registration and education is started in accordance with the instructions given to the person he / she has given power of attorney or personally. The opportunities provided by our Faculty regarding accommodation, nutrition, health facilities and social activities are announced to the students. The academic calendar of the academic year is announced to all students and the instructions to be followed about student affairs-student relations are taken care of. Students are closely interested in all problems related to education and training.
b. Regarding the issue of issuing a student certificate; The student is made to fill out the printed petition prepared by the student affairs without any fee. If the student has submitted the petition before noon, he/she can receive the document he/she has requested in the afternoon of the same day. If the student has submitted the printed petition in the afternoon, the student can receive the requested document from the student affairs office before noon of the next day.
c. After the registrations, the military service branches are notified by the end of October of that year of the students who have reached the age of attendance. Those who have not reached the age of enrolment are kept waiting.
d. As soon as the student registrations are completed, student course registrations are made immediately afterwards (course registrations can also be made via the Internet within the announced programme.) The student who registers for the course keeps one copy of the signed course registration form. The assigned counsellor instructors prepare the printout of the Course Attendance List showing which (how many) students will take which course, where and when, and announce it to the relevant places, especially the student affairs.
e. At the midterm, final and end of the semester (within 10 ten days at the latest), the course instructors upload the grades taken by the students to the programme and deliver the grades to the student affairs with a printout. Student affairs processes the received grades into the students' personal grade cards. After they are checked in the computer programme, they are kept in accordance with the regulations.
f. The health problems of students whose parents are not affiliated with any health insurance will submit their certified documents from the SSI to the student affairs and our University is to undertake the health problems of such students with referral procedures in accordance with the instructions of the regulations.
